On the evening of Lithuania’s Statehood Day, one of Vilnius’ most popular green spaces will be turned into an open-air nighttime picnic area and everyone’s invited to join! Enjoy this national celebration that is sure to go far into the night.
Where and when?
On 6 July, invite your friends and party on the grass by Baltasis Tiltas (White Bridge). Join in the singing of the Lithuanian National Anthem at 9 p.m. together with 4 million Lithuanians around the world, which will be accompanied by the sounds of the carillon at the Church of St. Philip and St. Jacob Church just across the Neris River.
What to eat?
The city’s top food trucks will be on hand, so there’ll be plenty of options to choose from. Feel free to bring something from home and share with friends.
What to do?
There’ll be trampolines to jump on, an activity zone by the Vilnius sports clubs to explore, and Lithuania’s top artists on stage providing the music. And of course, the fireworks lighting up the summer night will be something to marvel at.
