All Vilnius Events in One Website
The website www.vilnius-events.lt year by year gets more and more popular among Vilnius citizens and its visitors. In the year 2011 the website „Vilnius Events Mosaic“ had more than 400 000 original visitors from Lithuania and all over the world searching for information, more than 8000 of them visited using smart phones.
Although the main portal visitors are from Lithuania, people from many Europe countries and even USA are following events in Vilnius. Because of this reason one of the www.vilnius-events.lt priorities is multilingualism – today this is the only event portal, where event descriptions are presented in three languages: Lithuanian, English and Russian.
Presenting a cultural life of the capital, the essential visitors demand – to find all the information in one place – is taken into account. Daily updated and refreshed www.vilnius-events.lt portal publishes around 600 events per month, moreover, for the visitor convenience they are distributed into separate groups. The most popular categories are free entrance events, concerts, festivals and open air events.
In January 2012 the portal surprised its visitors with one more novelty – events video reportages, prepared by the interactive IP television Penki TV (Kaziukas Fair).
„Vilnius Events Mosaic“ is open for collaboration with all capital event organizers and encourages everyone, who would like to spread the news about his events and to contribute to the popularization of the city cultural life. The website is administrated by the Vilnius Tourist Information Centre & Convention Bureau.
