Route for People with Movement Disabilities

This route is the first tourist route of Vilnius city intended for the individuals with limited movement abilities. This route was worked out in April-June 2010 in the presence of the individuals with movement disabilities and taking into consideration their remarks and propositions.
The physical and social environment in Vilnius is not sufficiently well adapted to the needs of the disabled. Despite the existing problems, we invite you to try the route from Aušros Vartai (Gate of Dawn) to the Arsenal, which is an interesting historical and cultural site. Next to every object on the route there are warnings about the possible obstacles.

Jewish Heritage in Vilnius

Many famous Judaism scholars and rabbis lived and worked in Vilnius; that is why over the 700 years of their presence in
Lithuania Jews created a rich and diverse culture. Vilnius was called the Jerusalem of the North. The publication presents walking route “Jewish Heritage in Vilnius”.

This publication presents the city of Vilnius, shortly introducing it’s history, architecture, and includes detailed information about transportation, accommodation, tour planning, restaurants, arts and culture, entertainment, offcial institutions, events. The catalogue is produced annually.

 

Bicycle Routes in the City of Vilnius

This publication presents five cycle routes around Vilnius including the Old Town, the centre of Vilnius, along the Neris banks, Valakupiai and the Green Lakes. These routes have been chosen respecting safety requirements and include what everybody desires to see, while cycling around the charming landscape and architecture of the city. So we suggest cycling along the current cycle routes and paths, serene lanes or wood tracks to enjoy the beauty of the picturesque Vilnius neighbourhoods.
