7 Medals to Take Home From Your Weekend Trip

VilniusMarathon 10

There’s no better way to explore the city than on foot, but have you considered running? Vilnius has seven different running events to offer you a weekend trip of a lifetime, and a medal to take home as a souvenir. It’s not all for professional runners, either; there are tracks of various levels of difficulty and family-friendly events focused mainly on having fun.

Enjoy the main tourist attractions while running through Vilnius Old Town or experience nature in forest and trail runs. But whatever you do, don’t stop to admire the scenery for too long! You’ll have plenty of time to explore more of the largest Baroque Old Town in Eastern and Central Europe while relaxing on the terrace of a cafe after your run.

Running in a crowd of people in a foreign city with locals cheering you on is a completely different experience everyone should try at least once. Choose a running event that fits you best and Ready, Set, Go!
