The Green House

The Vilna Gaon State Jewish Museum takes care of the historical, material and spiritual heritage of Lithuanian Jews, traditional and modern Jewish art objects, collects documents and things related to the Holocaust, organises touring exhibitions; cherishes Jewish culture and traditions.

A green wooden house hosts an exhibition to commemorate the Holocaust in Lithuania. The exhibition tells the history of the genocide of Lithuanian Jews during World War II (1941–1945). The exposition includes authentic documents, photographs, letters, and diaries. The tragedy of this nation is referred to as HOLOCAUST, SHOAH, or CATASTROPHE.

Museum  is closed on public holidays
