EXPOSITION OF LITHUANIA’S PRE-HISTORY

The exposition contains archaeological findings dating back to the appearance of the first inhabitants in the territory of Lithuania 11,000 years BC until establishment of the State in the 13th century. The museum is open to anybody who wishes to gain deeper knowledge and understanding of Lithuanian archaeology, history and ethnic culture; or those who simply want to admire the artefacts of our Lithuanian ancestors.

The pre-history of Lithuania is presented at the Museum: from the first people who appeared in the present territory of the country to the establishment of the State. Various tools and implements used by the first inhabitants of Lithuania, the history of Baltic culture formation are represented in the exposition of the Museum.

Museum  is closed on public holidays
