Vilnius is starting the autumn season off with a bang – the annual Loftas Fest, taking place on 7-8 September. This is not your average festival. Right in the heart of the city, Loftas Fest is the only city powered urban festival in the Baltics, so no need to pack your tent. Either way, there’s a good chance you won’t be sleeping for those nights.
Are you ready to rock? Five (!) stages will fill your ears with electronic and rock music. The main stage is dedicated to headliners and international stars, such as electroclash founder DJ Hell, who created soundtracks for fashion shows, movies, and art exhibitions.
The What’s Next in Music? stage will host about 30 intriguing and promising artists from all over Europe. It’s their chance to get discovered by new audiences as well as record labels and producers.
Loftas Fest is bigger than music, though. Check out the Art Stage and the Open Gallery Exhibition for young contemporary artists. Get a snack at the delicious street food yard, or go through the boxes for a special treat at the vinyl market. Stay up late for a night cinema and rave till dawn. Repeat the next day.
Keep an eye out for the full programme, which has yet to be revealed, and take advantage of early bird tickets. There will be two types of tickets – social contribution tickets to access the festival and separate paid tickets for the headline shows.
