Project
As part of the project “New Tourism Opportunities in the City of Vilnius”, the Vilnius Tourist Information Centre aims to stimulate local and international tourism in Vilnius. The project also aims to:
- create new tourism products and services by using existing tourist resources and thereby to attract a larger flow of tourists;
- increase the publicity for Vilnius City tourism products and the variety of public services available.
In order to achieve the principle aims of the project “New Tourism Opportunities in the City of Vilnius” it is essential to implement these project tasks:
create additional educational-cultural tourism routes on new themes;
create a Vilnius Tourist Information website;
create a consistent style for both the website and tourist information publications;
publish information about tourist resources in the City and the Region of Vilnius;
arrange publicity functions to advertise new Vilnius products and services;
strengthen the technical basis of the Vilnius Tourist Information Centre.
